The Loftsails Skyscape is a lightweight, high-aspect windsurfing sail tuned for freefoil performance and pure enjoyment on the water. Chosen as the personal design of Monty Spindler, Skyscape combines low-drag shaping with a shorter boom and a no-cam layout to make flipping and transitions effortless while preserving delicate board trim. The 8.0 size uses the stable 6-batten architecture with selectively revised battens that push the profile slightly forward for improved drive and responsiveness. A strong luff curve and carefully tuned horizontal shaping give a wide range of trim options, and double clew eyelets extend on-water versatility when conditions change. Although optimized for foiling, Skyscape still performs very effectively on a fin setup, making it a flexible choice across disciplines. Note: Loftsails sizes below 7.0 are compatible with both RDM and SDM masts; consult Loftsails for recommended mast setup for the 8.0.
